The 1st “Young Potential Presenter” Contest

To all dentists and dental students!

On 6th – 8th December, the 5th HSDi Congress organized by Ho Chi Minh City Society of Dental Implantology (HSDi) in cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City Odonto-Stomatology Association (HOSA), will take place with many interesting topics of famous international and national presenters, not only in dental implantology but also in other fields. 

Especially, in this year congress, HSDi arranged a special conference room for young presenters in 2 days to prepare for the future generation of Vietnamese dental society, and Implantology particularly. 

In order to attract as many dentists to be interested and take part in scientific presentation, HSDi would like to kindly inform about the “Young Potential Presenter” Contest, along with the contest regulations. This is the opportunity for young dentists as well as dental students to show their capabilities and potentials in this year congress.

We hope there would be many dentists and dental students participating in this contest. We also wish that this open letter would be spread out so that all of our colleagues would get the adequate information.

We would like to send our most sincere thank to all dentist and dental students who are interested and take part in this contest!

I. Participants

  1. Vietnamese dentists or dental students
  2. Under 35 years old (until 7th December 2019)

II. Presentation Format

  1. Presentation should be displayed by PowerPoint or Keynote
  2. Language: Vietnamese. Slide show can be in English
  3. Content: Optional dental topics
  4. Content type: Review, Research, Clinical techniques…
  5. Under 50 slides
  6. Presentation time limit: 20-25 minutes

III. Contest Format

  1. Submit presentation video
  2. Submit presentation PowerPoint or Keynote file
  3. 2nd-round-eligible presentation will be invited to present at HSDi Congress on 7th – 8th December

VI. Round 1 Result

  1. The judges will announce 10 participants who are eligible for round 2 on 25th September 2019
  2. On 30th September 2019, all 10 eligible participants will gather for rehearsal and practice presentation skills
  3. On 7th – 8th December 2019, these participants will present at the HSDi Congress

VII, Prizes

  1. 1st prize: 15.000.000 VND
  2. 2nd prize: 10.000.000 VND
  3. Four 3rd prize: 4.000.000 VND/prize
    • 1st and 2nd prize contestants will have “Excellent Young Presenter 2019” Certificates
    • Four 3rd prize contestants will have “Potential Young Presenter 2019” Certificates
    • Certificates and prizes will be awarded at the congress closing ceremony
    • Presentation videos will be stored on HSDi website
